Light grey speckled quartz worktop with butchers block wood insert
This shaker style kitchen blends contemporary with traditional, almost rustic. The open shelving in the well sized kitchen island is classic cottage farmhouse styling. The rest of the island has contemporary styling. We think it works well.
In contrast to the mineral blue matte paint used for the kitchen island the remaining units are painted matte slate grey. Two wall units either side of the window add interest without imposing themselves, staying true to simple functional principles of shaker kitchens.
