Solid Ash Doors and Dekton Worktop and Splashback
Our customer was renovating her Victorian townhouse in London. They wanted to create a large area for entertaining as they hold regular dinner parties, so we created a design that incorporated a large kitchen with plenty of preparation and storage space, a bar area with full height wine cooler and a central island with space for bar stools overlooking the large dining table and out to the garden through the full width bifold doors.
We specified our ever popular skinny shaker solid ash door, painted Slate Blue with brushed brass cup and bar handles. The worktops and upstands were 20mm Dekton Entzo, which has a warm honey veining to complement the brass hardware. We also used this surface as a full height splashback along the sink wall.
On the bar dresser, we used glazed units to display the customer's treasured collection of glassware and we increased the depth of the base units so that there was more surface area to prepare drinks. Using curved end moulding provided an elegant finishing touch to the dresser, which we also used on the island and end of the sink units.
We used drawer boxes to extend the space to include a desk area and even incorporated a dog bed for the family pet!
