Complementary Living Room Furniture
Our customer was looking for a shaker style kitchen with some traditional elements, so we specified a solid ash shaker style door with internal moulding, painted light grey. For the island, we used the same doors painted Dust Grey and curved end moulding on each corner. One side features a combination of pan drawers and cupboards, while the other side has space for bar stools supplied by the customer. We continued the flow of the kitchen into the snug area by creating some bespoke complementary furniture in the form of a TV unit and dresser with glazed doors and internal lighting. Both of these pieces were also painted Dust Grey. The polished chrome cup and knob handles used through give a contemporary feel to the kitchen.
The under-mounted sink and hot water tap were by Blanco. We also cut drainage grooves into the worktop to the right of the sink to add to traditional references. The worktops are Antolini 20mm Cloudy Grey, which we also used for the upstands and splashback. The hues on this surface complement both the light grey and dust grey beautifully. We also used radius curves on the corners of the island worktop to emphasise the curved mouldings on the corners of the base units.
The appliances include an integrated AEG 70:30 split No Frost fridge freezer, integrated AEG ProClean dishwasher and a stunning Bertazzoni triple oven dual fuel range cooker. We designed a decorative mantle shelf and canopy to house the built-in AEG 80cm extractor hood, which along with the range cooker and feature splashback, provides a striking focal point of the kitchen.
We also supplied and fitted the Impervia Cobble Grey Oak herringbone flooring.
